“I reached out to Mike Flanagan with Flanagan and Associates Insurance Agency based on a friend’s referral. I was just about to settle on what I found as the best homeowner’s rate, but in a last ditch effort I reached out to his office. We are only a few days from closing so this was very time sensitive. He was able to get me a quote with better coverage for about $50 cheaper/year than anything I was able to find or my current (now prior) insurance agent could find. That may not seem like much, but it was still the best deal, and the 5 stars is reflective of how responsive he was and how easy it was to get everything set up. He was also able to lower my auto premiums without sacrificing my current coverage, and that will save me about $30/month. Great experience; I would highly recommend Flanagan and Associates to anyone shopping for car or homeowner’s insurance.

“I own rental properties in multiple states. When I was buying my first Ohio property and could not get a reasonable price from my usual sources, I turned to local Yelp. Flanagan only had two (recommended and) positive reviews. I got a quote over the phone and later by email. I ended up going with Flanagan for their price first. I now own two properties in Ohio, and they are both insured through Flanagan.
I have had a number of policy questions come up since I first became a customer, as has also happened with my other properties. But unlike with some other insurers, Flanagan is always prompt in their replies, on the point, and as I just learned, will not try to upsell even when you ask them whether you need additional coverage – but will tell you what you need, even if not from them/to their own benefit.
While they are also licensed in some other states, I only wish they were licensed in those where I have other properties. At least I know I am in good hands (I hope it’s not a trademark) in Ohio.”
